Hendon were beaten 2-1 at Tonbridge Angels last night in a game that was thoroughly entertaining from start to finish. Both sides played some excellent passing football during the game, and it was the Greens who had the better chances to open the scoring. However it was Tonbridge who struck first when Lee Minshull scored shortly before half-time.
Only a minute into the second period, Hendon equalised when Billy Dunn's shot hit a divot and flew over the dive of Angels keeper Lee Worgan. The Greens then had a couple of chances to take the lead, but were punished just after the hour mark when Paul Booth was allowed through to score.
