Hendon return to the seaside, this time in Sussex as they travel to Brighton to play Whitehawk in tomorrow's Bank Holiday fixture. Gary McCann and the squad will be keen to build on the point gained yesterday and pick up their first win of the season
This is Whitehawk's first season at this level, and after losing their first game they have picked up two wins, latterly winning 3-1 at Enfield Town yesterday, despite being reduced to ten men early on and falling behind to a penalty. The game was soured during the second half when two Whitehawk players, Mark Knee and Sami El-Abd collided and after a thirty minute stoppage, both had to be substituted. The goalscorers for the hawks were Josh Jones with two and Scott McLeish.
Our two clubs have just met the once before, back in October 2010 in the FA Cup 3rd qualifying round when goals from Belal Aite-Ouakrim and Aaron Morgan earnt the Greens progression.
Kick off at Whitehawk tomorrow is at 3pm, and their admission prices are the same as ours, £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and free for under 16s.
