First friendly tonight - travel advice

Tonight sees the first friendly of the "summer" as the squad take the next step on their preparations for the new season.

The game at Met Police (Bushey) will kick off at 7.00pm, and there is no admission charge. When you arrive in the car park, you don't need to go into the clubhouse - just walk to the right of the clubouse onto the playing fields and you will see the senior pitch off to the left.

However, we have been advised that Aldenham Road past the sportsground is closed from 8pm for resurfacing works. We are assured that you will be able to get out of the car park to get home. This also means that the 602 bus that passes the ground will not be able to do so after 8pm. We believe that the nearest stop will be near the Toby Restaurant by the A41 roundabout - about 10 minutes walk.

A brief report and the line-up will appear on the website shortly after the game. For those of you that make use of the livescores service, this will not be operating during the friendlies, but will resume for the first league game of the season.
