We are pleased to announce that Dean Cracknell, a 28 year old attacking midfielder, has signed for the club at today's first pre-season training session.

Dean joins us from Blue Square South side Welling United for whom he made 22 appearances last season, scoring 3 goals. His final appearance was on the losing side in the play-off final a few weeks ago. He has also played for Thurrock, Boreham Wood, St Albans City and Aylesbury United amongst others.

We warmly welcome Dean to the club as the first new addition to the squad, and hope that he enjoys his time with us.

Ten players who were with us last season have also signed Ryman League registration forms, with more expected to sign on Tuesday evening.

The players are Scott Cousins, Darren Currie, Dave Diedhiou, Jerome Federico, Berkley Laurencin, Michael Lewis, Carl McCluskey, Michael Peacock, Scott Shulton (who joins permanently having been on a dual registration with Bishop's Stortford at the end of last season) and Ryan Wharton.

The only departures from the squad are Elliott Godfrey, who as previously reported has joined Staines Town, and Jamie Busby, who is taking a year out from football to concentrate on his studies, work and family and hopes to return next year.
