A superb goal from Carl McCluskey earnt Hendon all three points this evening as they beat Cray Wanderers 1-0 at Vale Farm.
The result moves the Greens back into 5th place and a further three points at Lewes on Saturday will really keep the club in the play off mix.
In the first half, Rikki Banks saved a spot kick from Lewis Perkins, whilst at the other end Belal Aite-Ouakrim missed an open goal from six yards.
McCluskey's goal came in the 51st minute, and the Greens were able to see the game out despite Cray having a goal disallowed late on.
