The first team have a very important week ahead, with three games that will almost certainly make or break the play-off push, and your support will be crucial.
Coming up first on Saturday afternoon is a home game against Carshalton Athletic, who come into the fixture on the back of five straight defeats. The Robins have been a surprise package this season, as many tipped them to be involved at the top of the table, instead of which they are on the fringes of the relegation battle. In the return fixture earlier in the season the Greens ran out comfortable 3-0 winners with goals from Carl McCluskey, Greg Ngoyi and Elliott Godfrey.
The squad come into the game keen to bounce back from the disapponting defeat at Concord Rangers last Saturday, and following a good team meeting on Tuesday, they had a positive training session last night which was led by Reading first team coach Chris Cummings.
Gary McCann and the squad are very much focused on the task in hand, and they all ask that everyone gets behind the team from the first whistle to the last. We are all in this together, and the squad really do appreciate when everyone gets behind them.
Kick off at Vale Farm tomorrow is at 3.00pm as normal. We look forward to seeing you all there.
