Former Arsenal striker Isaiah Rankin is fast becoming a super-sub for Hendon as he scored his 3rd goal in 3 league games, all three coming after entering the game as a substitute.
Today's goal came in the 82nd minute when a backpass from a Lowestoft defender was poorly judged, the ball looping over the keeper for Rankin to run on to and nod home.
Ten minutes earlier, Berkley Laurencin was relieved after he took an airshot at the ball, ran back to retrieve the situation, only to blast the ball against a Lowestoft player - the ball fortunately hitting the woodwork and going out for a goalkick.
Apart from that, chances were few and far between, Carl McCluskey and Elliott Godfrey both seeing efforts blocked, whilst the Hendon back four were in fine form once again, limiting the visitors to half-chances.
The result moves the Greens up to 4th place in the table, just two points behind 3rd placed Lowestoft.
