Hendon progressed to the 2nd Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy this afternoon as they beat a talented Lowestoft Town side 2-0. It was a very good cup tie, with both sides getting the ball down and playing some good football.

The deadlock was broken in the 77th minute, when Lubomir Guentchev found space and fired home a fierce shot into the net. The second goal came shortly afterwards when Dave Diedhiou bundled the ball home from close range.

The draw for the next round takes place at the FA on Monday, and games will be played on Saturday 31st October. We will bring news of the draw on the website as soon as we get it.
