Hendon completed their first league double of the campaign this afternoon as they beat Hastings United 2-1, moving up to fourth place in the league table in the process.
The Greens goals came inside the first 20 minutes with Elliott Charles netting first, his 10th of the season, and Michael Lewis doubling the lead soon afterwards, his first goal for the club. Hastings pulled a goal back through Lee Carey just after the half-hour mark, but the Greens, as has often been the case this season, were able to see the game out and secure the three points.
