An extremely disappointing second half performance cost Hendon all three points this afternoon as they lost the New Year local derby 4-2 at Harrow Borough.
Despite going behind in the 3rd minute to a Danny Buckle goal, the Greens were the better side in the first half, and were ahead by the break thanks to goals from Greg Ngoyi and Elliott Charles.
However, the performance in the second period was probably one of the worst of the season, and Harrow capitalised to equalise through Danny Buckle, and go on to secure the points with late goals from Wayne Walters and Michael Barima. The one Hendon player probably exempt from criticism in the second half was Elliott Charles.
