Supporters are reminded that this weekend's game at Cray Wanderers takes place on Sunday afternoon, kicking off at the slightly later than usual time of 4:00pm.
Cray, who play at Bromley's Hayes Lane ground, are in a very similar position in the league to the Greens, and it should be a keenly contested game.
Gary McCann is hoping that some of the injured players will ready to take part, with Elliott Charles and Greg Ngoyi both close to fitness a week ago. The return of one or both players on Sunday will increase the striking options markedly.
The injury situation is gradually improving, with James Fisher, Elliott Godfrey and Jerome Federico having returned to action over the past couple of weeks. Casey Maclaren and Jamie Busby are making progress from the injuries they sustained in the game at Luton, whilst Lee O'Leary's latest injury isn't as serious as first thought and it is hoped he'll be fit to play again in six to eight weeks.
Aaron Morgan, James Archer and Michael Lewis are all on the road to recovery, but Elliott Brathwaite, who was injured on the opening day of the season. is unfortunately out long-term.
Meanwhile, both Michael Peacock and Jerome Federico have both been dual-registered with Northwood, and both appeared for the Woods in their 3-1 win against Uxbridge on Tuesday evening. This move is purely to get both players some important game time, and both are very much an important part of the Gary McCann's squad.
Despite defeats in the past two games against the current pacesetters, Lowestoft Town and Billericay Town, performances have been good, and the squad, who are in very good spirits, will be keen to build on those performances and pick up three points on Sunday afternoon.
