Hendon were beaten 2-1 by a strong, powerful Billericay Town side this afternoon.
The visitors took the lead in the 11th minute when Richard Halle converted a spot kick, and just three minutes later the lead was doubled when Emeka Onwubike was allowed to run unchallenged to score.
The Greens worked hard to try and get back into the game, but found that Billericay were just too strong and powerful, and the visitors were able to do the ugly side of the game very well and professionally.
Both sides had chances during the remainder of the game, but the only other goal came in stoppage time when Isaiah Rankin scored a deserved consolation for Hendon, but there was no doubt that Billericay deserved to take all three points.
