Two goals in three minutes earnt the Greens a 2-0 win against a Hastings United side who failed to register a shot on target this afternoon.
Whilst the home side were tidy on the ball, they lacked cutting edge up front, and it was the Greens who were creating chances throughout the first half. Hendon did get the ball into the net, but the goal was disallowed for offside.
The second half continued in a similar vein, and the Greens got their reward in the 74th minute when Michael Peacock scored from a corner for his first goal of the season.
Just two minutes later, Elliott Charles, with his 3rd goal in 3 games since joining the club, doubled the lead with a fine finish.
The result sees the club move up to 3rd place in the league table.
