The first team return to league action tomorrow afternoon as they travel to Kingstonian in our latest Ryman League fixture.
This is likely to be a very tough test, against a side who, despite being among the pre-season favourites, have had a disappointing start to the season and currently lie in 21st place with just four points from seven games.
Our opponents are very much a wounded animal, having also been dumped out of the FA Cup by Poole Town last weekend, and have lost each of their last four competitive games without scoring a goal.
Gary McCann will be very much aware of how Kingstonian can bounce back, as supporters will remember two seasons ago when they lost their first four fixtures, and then came to Vale Farm with six new players, and promptly beat us 3-0. Gary and the squad will be very keen to ensure that this doesn't happen again, and that our unbeaten start to the season continues.
Gary is hoping that 2 or 3 of the injured players will be back and available for selection, whilst Noel Imber has gone to Enfield Town to get some game time to ensure that he is match fit should we require his services.
Kick off at Kingsmeadow tomorrow afternoon is at 3.00pm. Admission for adults is £10, for senior citizens is £7, for students is £4 and under 16s is £2.
