Hendon dropped two points this evening at home to East Thurrock United, but remain top of the table as other results went their way, with both Lowestoft and Canvey Island both losing.
The first half performance from the Greens was rather disappointing, and East Thurrock deservedly went in ahead at half-time courtesy of an excellent goal from Kyle Ruel.
However, as has been so often the case so far this season, the table toppers refused to give up, and equalised in the 52nd minute when Greg Ngoyi found the back of the net. The Greens then had a number of chances but were unable to convert them, with Daryl Atkins looking particularly lively after making his debut as a substitute.
