The first team will be looking to extend their FA Cup run into the 4th qualifying round for the first time in 5 years as they entertain Ashford Town (Middlesex) at Vale Farm tomorrow afternoon.
The Greens reached this stage last season, but were knocked out by AFC Telford United, whilst the Ash Trees did manage to reach the 4th qualifying round, but were beaten 4-0 by Forest Green Rovers in a replay.
To reach this stage, Ashford demolished Badshot Lea 10-0 a fortnight ago, with Byron Harrison netting four goals, and our former favourite Brian Haule scoring twice. In the first qualifying round, they won 3-2 at Crawley Down, with another former Hendon player, Paul Johnson, getting onto the scoresheet.
There is a third former Hendon player in the Ashford squad, in the form of Davis Haule, who recently joined them from Hemel Hempstead Town, having left Wealdstone in the summer.
The match kicks off at the usual time of 3.00pm at Vale Farm tomorrow afternoon. If a replay is required, it would take place at Ashford's Short Lane ground on Tuesday evening, kicking off at 7.45pm.
The draw for the 4th qualifying round will be made on Monday, and we will update the website with the draw as soon as it is available.
