A 65th minute equaliser from Dave Diedhiou was enough to secure a point at Hastings United as the game ended 1-1 this afternoon at Pilot Field.

On a hot & sunny afternoon on the south coast, Hastings had taken the lead late in the first half when Sam Adams had converted a penalty following a foul by Casey Maclaren.

Diedhiou had an excellent chance to win the game when he did everything right and headed the ball into the ground, only to see it bounce over the net with the Hastings keeper left helpless.
