League leaders Sutton United gained revenge for their defeat at Vale Farm last month by beating the first team 3-0 at Gander Green Lane this afternoon.
Sutton took the lead in the 7th minute through Leroy Griffiths before Richard Jolly doubled the lead ten minutes before half-time. In between the goals, the Greens had the ball in the net, but Greg Ngoyi was ruled to have been offside.
The third goal came in the 64th minute courtesy of Craig Dundas, whilst Ngoyi had the Greens best chance of the half when he narrowly missed connecting with Danny Dyer's cross into the six yard box. Shortly before the final whistle the Greens were reduced to 10 men when Aaron Morgan was sent off for a second caution following a needless challenge on Kevin Scriven.
