The first team's disappointing run of results continued this evening with a 3-0 defeat at Kingstonian.
Despite going a goal behind in the 2nd minute, scored by Paul Vines, the Greens gave as good as they got throughout the first half, but as is so often the case, were unable to convert their possession into goals. Their best chance fell to Casey Maclaren who saw his drive hit the woodwork. Just before half-time Kingstonian doubled their lead through leading scorer Bobby Traynor.
Things became much tougher midway through the second half when Daniel Sintim was sent off for a nasty looking challenge on Dean Lodge, and the ten men were found out shortly before the end of the game when Bashiru Alimi completed the scoring for Kingstonian.
