The tough run of games against clubs at the top end of the division continues on Saturday afternoon as we entertain Tonbridge Angels in a Premier Division fixture.
The Angels are in fine form, having won 10 of their last 15 league games, one of which came in their game on Tuesday night when they beat Hastings United 2-1 with goals from Fraser Logan and Ade Olorunda. We last met back in January, when we suffered our annual defeat at Longmead, with Olorunda and leading scorer Frannie Collin finding the back of the net after Belal Aite-Ouakrim had given us a 10th minute lead.
It is hoped that one or two of the injured players will be available on Saturday, whilst Kevin Maclaren will be available following his suspension. Gary McCann will be hoping that the team can put on a good show for our visitors from Birmingham, and pick up some much needed points to help cement our mid table position.
The bar at Vale Farm will open at 12.00pm, and the turnstiles will open around 1.45pm. Hot food & drink will be available in the ground. Supporters from both Tonbridge and Birmingham are warmly invited to join us in the bar before and after the game.
