The first team put in a vastly improved performance tonight at Billericay Town despite going down to a 2-0 defeat. The first half saw the Greens have four or five decent chances, but were dealt a blow on the stroke of half time when Cedric Ngakam found the back of the net.
Early in the second half, James Reading saved a penalty, but the home side doubled their lead in the 63rd minute through Benson Kpaka. Billericay held on for the three points despite the best efforts of the Greens, who kept battling for the full 90 minutes.
