The first team make their second trip to Canvey Island of 2011, this time to play the club named after the island in a league match, Concord Rangers having been the destination a few weeks ago.
The Seagulls come into the game on the back of a good run of results, having beaten Margate, Maidstone United and Hastings United in their last three games, keeping clean sheets in the process. However prior to that, they lost 3-1 to Sutton United and 6-1 to Harrow Borough, so are clearly capable of conceding goals.
Canvey are currently 3 points and 3 places better off in the league table than the Greens, but have played 2 goals more.
Hendon completed a league double over the Seagulls last season, Lubo Guentchev and Scott Cousins scoring in a 2-1 win at Vale Farm, whilst Guentchev brace and a goal from Brad Thomas earnt a 3-2 win at Park Lane.
Supporters travelling by public transport are advised to check their journeys as there are various engineering works on the London Underground. There are still seats available on the coach for £10 which can be booked by emailing the club on admin@hendonfc.net.
The game will kick off at 3.00pm at Park Lane where admission is £10 for adults, £5 for concessions, and £1 for accompanied under 12s.
