High flying Cray Wanderers, who recently celebrated their 150th birthday, are our visitors to Vale Farm tomorrow afternoon. Under the guidance of chairman Gary Hillman, who took over in 1994 and manager Ian Jenkins, who took charge in 1999, the club have gradually moved up the pyramid, and currently sit in their highest ever position towards the top of the Premier Division table.

They currently sit in 5th place in the table, with 40 points from 24 games, although they did lose to fellow high flyers Lowestoft Town on Tuesday evening. Last Saturday they beat another leading club, Kingstonian, 2-0 with goals from Chris Saunders and John Guest.

Last season it was honours even, with both clubs winning their respective home games 2-0. The Greens won at Vale Farm in September with goals from Yacine Hamada and Jamie Busby, whilst at Hayes Lane in January the Wanderers had George Porter and John Guest to thank for the three points.

Gary McCann will be keen that the squad build on the point earned at Margate, and is hoping that he will be able to announce a new signing later today who is expected to go into tomorrows squad once all the necessary paperwork has been completed.

There are no known engineering works that will affect journeys to Vale Farm with the Bakerloo, Piccadilly and London Overground lines all expected to run a normal Saturday service.

Kick off at Vale Farm will be at 3.00pm, the bar will be open from 12.00pm and the turnstiles will open around 2.00pm. We look forward to seeing you all at the game.
