An 88th minute goal from Jamie Busby earnt Hendon a deserved point at Margate this evening as the game ended 1-1.
The home side took the lead late in the first half through Craig Cloke, with Belal Aite-Ouakrim having the best of Hendon's chances in the opening period.
The Greens were the better side, but didn't create a huge amount in clear chances, but were given a great chance in the 78th minute when Aaron Morgan was fouled in the box. The normally reliable Busby stepped up but fired the spot kick against the bar.
However, Busby redeemed himself with just two minutes to go when he did manage to find the back of the net to earn the point.
