The games are coming thick and fast this week, and our next visitors to Vale Farm are Margate who come to town tomorrow evening for a 7.45pm kick off.
Margate currently lie 21st in the table, with 7 points from their 8 games played so far. On Saturday they lost 3-1 at home to Horsham, Joe Healy scoring their only goal.
Last season, we first met in August when they drew 2-2, with us having led 2-0 through Mark Kirby and Brian Haule, before the Kent side fought back with goals from Wayne Wilson and Louis Smith.
Then in October we met at Hartsdown Park in the FA Trophy, where a solitary goal from Harry Hunt was enough for us to progress into the next round. The return league fixture was played at Earlsmead in November when Margate won 2-1 thanks to goals from Wilson and Mo Takaloo after Hunt had given us the lead.
