We start our FA Cup campaign tomorrow afternoon with a trip to our old friends at Marlow, a ground we haven't visited in just over 10 years. Our last visit there, and indeed our last game against them, took place in the Isthmian League Cup in February 1999 when we lost 2-1, Paul Whitmarsh scoring our goal.
Marlow progressed through to this round with a comfortable 3-0 win over Ilford a fortnight ago, thanks to an own goal and two strikes from Alex Stewart. They have had a disappointing start to their league campaign - they play in the Zamaretto (Southern) League Division One Midlands - having picked up one win and one draw in their five games so far. Last weekend they slipped to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Leighton Town.
Kick off at the Alfred Davis Ground tomorrow is at the usual time of 3.00pm. Should a replay be required, it would take place on Tuesday evening at 7.45pm at Vale Farm. Should we progress, the draw for the next round will be made on Monday, and will be announced on this website as soon as it is available.
