Hendon missed out on a rare quarter final appearance in the league cup after losing to a last minute Dereck Brown goal against Chesham tonight. Both sides fielded weakened sides and Chesham took a 37th minute lead through Craig Farley, before Dale Binns took advantage of a handling error by the Chesham keeper, Chris Tullett, to equalise on the stroke of half time. Binns put Hendon in front in the 58th minute with a rare header and then Dudley Campbell equalised for Chesham 14 minutes later before Brown scored the decisive winner. Hendon miss out on a trip to Heybridge Swifts.
