Hendon put out a good performance tonight at Purfleet, and may feel aggrieved not to come away with all three points rather than a goalless draw. Hendon fielded two debutants, central defender Chris Sparks, who joins us from Yeading, and midfielder Otis Roberts, who is an international for one of the Caribbean islands, and recently left Harrow Borough. Both sides had decent penalty shouts turned down, and a string of good saves from the Purfleet keeper kept the home side in the game.
