As was mentioned briefly last week Hendon unveiled two new signings for their game against Purfleet last week. They were central defender Chris Sparks and midfielder Otis Roberts. Sparks, 27, who signed from Yeading, is a tall, dominating stopper whose former clubs include Brentford, Chertsey Town , Hayes, St Albans City, Chesham United, Boreham Wood and Hemel Hempstead.

Roberts, who impressed with speed and ball control at Purfleet, is a much-travelled Grenadian who has represented his country many times at full international level. He joined Hendon from Harrow Borough, having previously played for FC Hoogstraten of Belgium.
