Bad day for Murphy

Hendon's victory over Dulwich lifted them to 12th place, their highest since November 2000, but Saturday afternoon was a pretty awful day for their manager Frank Murphy. His last 3 clubs all had disastrous days: as mentioned Dulwich lost to Hendon and were relegated in bottom place in the Ryman League Premier Divison; his previous club was Barnet, whose 3-2 home defeat against Torquay saw them relegated from the Nationwide League to the Nationwide Conference; and the club before that, Kettering Town, beat Woking 2-0, but still finished 2 points behind Hayes and occupied the top of three relegation places from the Nationwide Conference; their future is likely to be in the Dr Martens (Southern) League.
