Hendon beat Hillingdon Borough 2-1 in their latest pre-season friendly thanks to goals from trialist Kofi Nyamah, who was with Hayes last season, and a last minute winner from Davis Haule. Nyamah put Hendon 1-0 up after just 7 minutes following a good build up involving Watson and Haule. Hendon then had more chances to add to their tally with the woodwork being struck and the Hillingdon substitute goalkeeper being forced to make a number of excellent saves. Two minutes from time Hendon conceded a soft penalty when Fitzgerald handled and the penalty was cooly stroked home. Right from the kick off Clarke burst forward and crossed for Haule who was able to compose himself before slotting the ball past the home keeper.
