Hendon outplayed Stevenage today for much of today's game, coming away with a deserved win due to a goal from Ross Pickett. Stevenage started with chances to put themselves three or four up by the 20th minute, but failed to score, most chances being put straight at Hook. Hendon gradually came into the game, however, and just before half-time Binns' cross eluded several players for Pickett to head in at the far post. The second half brought little of note as Hendon looked the more likely to score, but Pickett was asked to leave the pitch after several late challenges.
