Gary McCann will be aiming to build on Saturday's good start when we entertain Billericay at Vale Farm tomorrow evening in our first home game of the campaign.

Billericay have made a number of changes to their squad during the summer, with new signings including goalkeeper Andy Walker from Maidstone United, defenders Russell Pond and Ian Wiles from Heybridge Swifts - Hendon supporters will remember Wiles for being involved in the incident that saw Heybridge keeper Ollie Morris-Sanders sent off last season - midfielders Michael Shinn from Braintree Town and Spencer Knight from Chelmsford City as well as forward Chris Sullivan from AFC Wimbledon.

Our visitors fought out a goalless draw with Wealdstone on Saturday afternoon, in a game that became increasingly scrappy with both sides having chances to nick the points in the last few minutes.

Last season, Billericay won both of the league fixtures between the two clubs firstly winning 1-0 at Claremont Road in early September, Bradley Wood-Garness scoring the goal. And then at New Lodge just before Christmas, Billericay won 4-2 in a game that saw Billy Bricknell and Joe Flack score twice for the home side, with Sam Byfield and Brian Haule replying for us.

The bar at Vale Farm will be open from 6.00pm, and the turnstiles will be open from 7.00pm. We look forward to seeing as many supporters from both sides at the game as possible.
