Hendon returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Tooting & Mitcham United at Vale Farm this afternoon.
The Greens took the lead in the 28th minute, when a long ball out of defensive allowed Lubomir Guentchev to beat the offside trap and finish clinically. The Bulgarian doubled the lead shortly before half time.
The Terrors deservedly pulled a goal back after 74 minutes when Reece Hall found the back of the net, but within a few minutes Hendon were two goals ahead when Eddie Munnelly scored his first goal for the club. He carried the ball from the halfway line into the 18 yard box and squared the ball to Brian Haule. The tall striker could only shoot at the keeper, but the ball bounced to Munnelly and he took great delight in slamming the ball into the net.
The final goal came shortly before the end when Lee O'Leary scored to add some gloss to the scoreline.
