A much changed Hendon side lost their final friendly against a Corinthian-Casuals side who it could be said knew how to tackle hard. One tackle led to Glenn Garner being carried off shortly before half-time.

Casuals took the lead in the 26th minute and doubled it in the 74th minute. The Hendon goal came four minutes later when a cross from Lubomir Guentchev was turned into his own net by a defender, and the best chance for an equaliser fell to 15 year old Max McCann.
