Croydon left the LOOT Stadium today with the satisfaction of knowing a job had been well done. The Trams stifled the Greens at every possible opportunity and kept the number of chances avaliable to the Dons to a minimum. Neither side had any clear chances in the first half, the only event of note being a booking for Croydon's Peter Garland for leading with his elbow. Only a few minutes into the second, Garland recieved his marching orders recieving a second booking for a foul on Bates. However, to Hendon's dismay, Croydon appeared to take the initiative for a short period and scored through Nic McDonnell. Hendon failed to find a way through Croydon's defence and had to accept their first home defeat to Croydon in 15 years.
