Hendon lost 1-0 to Aldershot Town tonight, but managed to keep the Shots far quieter than in May, when the Hampshire side left the LOOT Stadium five goals to the good. The sole goal in the game came from Mark Bentley in the 38th minute, Hendon appearing to keeping Aldershot's chances limited, whilst the Greens' chances themselves were limited, Woodruffe shooting narrowly wide and Randall having a chance early in the second half, but being unable to convert it. Micky Woolner was sent off in the 83rd minute for a nasty challenge but the game was more notable for the fact that it was actually completed, the pitch unusually not being the potential reason for abandoning the game, but the fog that came down posing a potential threat to Aldershot's three points as for much of the game supporters behind the goal could not see much further than the halfway line.
