Hendon won in a league game in Essex for the first time in over 18 months with a 6-4 victory at Billericay Town. Hendon took an early lead, Cooper putting the ball away after King made a good save. However, Cooper was then unfortunate enough to get a head to a Billericay corner 5 minutes later, and equalise for the Blues. A second goal after around another ten minutes for Billericay left Hendon wondering what they had to do to win in Essex, but the answer came in the 44th minute. Binns came on for Woodruffe and immediately revitalised the Dons. In the 48th minute, Forbes equalised for the Greens, and a minute later a contender for goal of the season followed from Micky Woolner. Carthy notched another two goals to put the Blues back in the lead, but Binns managed to work two goals in the 81st and 86th minutes to put the Greens ahead. Hendon nerves were finally settled by a 92nd minute effort by Ofori.
