Hendon drew with Hitchin Town at the LOOT Stadium this afternoon, the Canaries coming back twice to equalise. A early fifth minute goal from Byron Bubb put the Greens in control for much of the first half, but another goal was conceeded from a set-piece in the 37th minute. Cooper gave away a free-kick, from which Sean Marshall was able to head home. Hendon scored again, however, in the 42nd minute as Steve Butler was sent clear, to go in 2-1 ahead at half time. Hitchin made the best of the second half, finding their second equaliser in the 65th minute through John Bone.
