Following the Under 15's final home game this coming Sunday, the goals will be removed from the pitch, and work will begin on laying new drains under the pitch. Drains will be laid across the pitch from the stand to the covered terracing at intervals along the pitch, while in the opposite direction the pitch will be sand slitted which should aid drainage. The work is being done by the same contractors that worked on Gravesend's pitch last summer, and those supporters who have been to Stonebridge Road this past season will know what a vast improvement the Ryman League champions pitch was compared with the previous year.
