Hendon convincingly beat Ford United 3-1 at Claremont Road this afternoon, although Ford did scare the Greens late on. A good first half for the Dons saw Crace net in the 9th minute following a good move, and Forbes double the lead in the 45th with a excellently taken goal. Hendon continued to make most of the running in the second half, and were turned down a penalty when Mr R. James disagreed with his assistant over a handball. Ford struck with a Mark Cooper own goal in the 86th minute to leave the Greens' fans on edge, but Crace struck again at the death to leave the result in no doubt.
