Brian Haule was the hero for Hendon for the second weekend in a row as he scored a late equaliser against Maidenhead United. After a largely quiet first half, Hendon had much the better of the second half and were stunned in the 77th minute when Ryan Ashe headed home when left unmarked at the far post. Haule was brought on with five minutes to go and latched onto a ball popped over the defence by Martin Randall and fired the ball home from an acute angle to earn Hendon a deserved point. Rob Haworth was short of luck in front of goal, on another day he would have scored a hat-trick, while Maidenhead goalkeeper Richard Barnard was in fine form, pulling off a couple of quality saves. Once again Hendon were solid at the back apart from the goal and kept the Magpies front line pretty quiet.
