Hendon opened their FA Cup campaign with a comfortable 3-0 win over Tooting & Mitcham United. Hendon controlled much of the game, and took the lead in the 23rd minute when Paul Yates headed the ball home. Just three minutes later Rob Haworth opened his account for the club to double the lead. Tooting were reduced to ten men on the hour mark when Youness Nabil was sent off, and with two minutes to go Haworth scored his second of the afternoon to put the game well out of reach. The draw for the next round will be made on Monday morning.
