Hendon have put 17-year-old midfielder Sam Byfield on a contract, following a second substitute appearance for the first team on Tuesday night. Byfield, who played for the club's Under-18s last season and the reserves this year, earned Middlesex county representative honours at the beginning of the month. After Byfield signed the deal with Hendon, manager Dave Anderson decided to give him the chance to experience regular first team football for a month. He has gone to Ryman League Division Two club Leighton Town, on loan, for a month.
