Tomorrow afternoon Hendon make a return trip to Scraley Road to take on Heybridge Swifts in the 3rd round of the FA Trophy. Hendon have particularly enjoyed their last 2 league trips to this part of Essex, scoring 10 times with only 1 in reply. Last season, it ended 6-1 with Martin Randall bagging a hat-trick and Byron Bubb, Ricci Crace and Eugene Ofori bagging the others. This year it was 4-0 with Ofori, Rob Haworth, Steve Forbes and Randall on target. At Claremont Road in 2001-02 it ended 1-0 to Hendon with Phil Ruggles netting the only goal. Heybridge, who lie 20th in the Premier Division with 25 points from 24 games, have been idle for a while, having their match postponed at the weekend, along with their county cup game on Tuesday evening.
