Tomorrow afternoon Hendon make a return trip to Scraley Road to take on Heybridge Swifts in the 3rd round of the FA Trophy. Hendon have particularly enjoyed their last 2 league trips to this part of Essex, scoring 10 times with only 1 in reply. Last season, it ended 6-1 with Martin Randall bagging a hat-trick and Byron Bubb, Ricci Crace and Eugene Ofori bagging the others. This year it was 4-0 with Ofori, Rob Haworth, Steve Forbes and Randall on target. At Claremont Road in 2001-02 it ended 1-0 to Hendon with Phil Ruggles netting the only goal. Heybridge, who lie 20th in the Premier Division with 25 points from 24 games, have been idle for a while, having their match postponed at the weekend, along with their county cup game on Tuesday evening. As and when we get any news of any pitch inspections we will of course update the website.
