Gary McCann is delighted this evening to announce that he has so far been able to register 18 players for the forthcoming season. It is expected that there will be further additions to the list of players who have registered over the next few weeks as the pre-season preparations continue.
Four players join us from Hillingdon Borough in the shape of goalkeeper Barclay Lawrencin, striker Leon Nelson, central defender Mark Kirby and left winger Sam Byfield. Supporters will remember Sam as a teenager when he made three substitute first team appearances in the 2002/03 season.
Joining us from Boreham Wood is experienced striker Chris Bangura and the returning Craig Vargas, whilst from Harrow Borough comes attacking midfielder James Bent. There are also a further trio of new defenders joining us. Kevin Maclaren, the younger brother of Casey, joins from Walton Casuals having previously been with Woking, Frederick Yebuah joins us from local football, whilst Frank Wilson has signed, having been out of football last season.
Also signing from last seasons squad are Luke Blackmore, James Burgess, Jamie Busby, Lubomir Guentchev, Rakatahr Hudson, Marc Leach, Casey Maclaren and Lee O'Leary.
