This evening the first team play the first of their semi-final games coming up over the next three Tuesday's. The visitors to Claremont Road are bottom of the table Hampton & Richmond Borough in the semi-finals of the Middlesex Senior Cup, which the first team will be looking to retain after winning the final last season. Hampton have reached this stage by seeing off Uxbridge 3-1 and beating Hayes in a penalty shoot out after a 2-2 draw. Meanwhile Hendon beat Hillingdon Borough 5-1, and Wealdstone 3-2 to reach this stage. Enfield Town await the winners in the final to be played at Northwood on Easter Monday. Both teams suffered defeats on Saturday. While Hendon were going down 2-0 to Sutton United, Hampton & Richmond Borough lost 4-0 at Aldershot Town, all the goals coming in the last 25 minutes. Kick off this evening is at 7.45pm, and it is hoped to see as many supporters as possible to hopefully cheer the team into the final.
