Hendon slumped to a disappointing 3-0 defeat at home to Bishops Stortford today at the LOOT stadium. Even more galling for the Greens was that the defeat was inflicted in front of Sky TV cameras, filming the game for part of a feature on international Christopher Wreh. However, in all honesty, Hendon only had themselves to blame and despite the score being 0-0 until just before half time, the Dons never really played to their potential. The first goal came in the 45th minute, Victor Renner scoring from close range after something of a scramble in the area. Rob French then doubled the lead in the 56th minute, heading home a cross from the right hand side. Christopher Wreh then scored the third within just a couple of minutes of leaving the bench, benefiting from the Greens' defence going AWOL.
