Hendon beat Billericay Town 2-1 tonight courtesy of a goal from Mark Cooper just seconds before the final whistle meaning that the Greens have taken 10 points from their last 4 games in just 8 days. Billericay had taken the lead in the 29th minute when Stuart Merritt broke clear on the right and fired the ball past David Hook. Hendon hit back just two minutes later when Ricardo Alves hit a shot that eluded visiting keeper Jerome John and bounced into the net. The result takes the Greens four points clear of fifth placed Hayes and just five points behind Canvey Island and St Albans City.
