Hendon Under-15s completed a magnificent season by claiming the Harrow Youth League Division 1 title with a 2-0 victory over Hampstead at Claremont Road on Sunday morning. It was real title decider, with Hampstead the only team able to deny Mark Crawford's boys the championship. It was a game of few chances, but Hendon had the better ones. Indeed, the Greens' defence was so good that Siki Kambila did not face a single shot on target. Mo Liban fired a magnificent 30-yard shot that cannoned off both posts before bouncing away to safety. In the second half, Hendon upped a gear and they got their due reward in the 63rd minute, but Mohammad Hasan scored. Eight minutes from time, the game and the title were sealed when Hasan grabbed his second. After winning their division as Under-13s, this is their second championship in 3 years. "I am so pleased for the boys today. We have played better going forward, but our defence was magnificent. All 14 players deserve a mention today, Siki Kambila, John Conway, Kevin Egan, Jackson Ellis, Jay Wildman, Tony Graham, Mohammad Hasan, Admir Meha, Steve Hogan, Mo Liban, David Ganash, Stephan Chambers, Sunny Malli and Jake Brennan
